A terrace sewer full of fig roots — cleaned and mapped before any dig
01 · The problem
A century-old terrace with the original earthenware sewer. A huge street fig on the nature strip had been sending roots under the block for decades. The owners wanted to know their options before committing to anything.
02 · What the camera found
The CCTV run found root intrusion at three points along a 22-metre line, with one section sagged and holding water. We mapped every point and gave the owners a recording to keep.

03 · What we did
We hydro-jetted the line clear and relined the two worst sections, leaving the sagged section for a separate targeted fix the owners could schedule when ready — no pressure to do it all at once.
04 · The outcome
The drains run clear for the first time in years. The owners have the footage and a plan for the remaining section, and can budget for it rather than react to it.

Recurring roots in a 1960s clay sewer — relined, no digging
The owners had cleared the same sewer four times in two years. Every few months the toilets would gurgle, the shower would slow, and they’d call someone to ram a cable through. It always came back.
$3,500–$5,500 (clear, CCTV, and two-section relining)

A flooded side path every time it rained — stormwater cleared and re-graded
Every heavy downpour turned the side path of this 1970s Cronulla home into a creek. The owners had tried surface grates and a plumber’s eel, but the water kept coming back.
$1,500–$2,400 (CCTV, jet, and 2m re-grade)
