A flooded side path every time it rained — stormwater cleared and re-graded
01 · The problem
Every heavy downpour turned the side path of this 1970s Cronulla home into a creek. The owners had tried surface grates and a plumber’s eel, but the water kept coming back.
02 · What the camera found
The camera showed the stormwater line had sagged in the sandy soil about 6 metres in, holding a pool of silt that refilled every rain. The pipe itself was intact — it just ran the wrong way.

03 · What we did
We jetted out the silt, then replaced the 2-metre sagged section and re-graded it back to a proper fall toward the street. A small dig, mostly in the side path itself.
04 · The outcome
The next three big storms drained perfectly. The fix was a fraction of the cost of re-laying the whole stormwater line, which an earlier quote had suggested.

Recurring roots in a 1960s clay sewer — relined, no digging
The owners had cleared the same sewer four times in two years. Every few months the toilets would gurgle, the shower would slow, and they’d call someone to ram a cable through. It always came back.
