A slow kitchen drain that wasn’t a blockage — it was 20 years of grease
01 · The problem
The kitchen sink had been getting slower for over a year. The owners had used chemical cleaners repeatedly with no lasting improvement, and assumed the pipe was broken.
02 · What the camera found
The CCTV showed a sound PVC line coated in a thick layer of hardened grease — no crack, no roots, no collapse. Just two decades of build-up narrowing the pipe to a third of its width.

03 · What we did
We hydro-jetted the line, cutting the grease off the pipe wall and washing it to the street. A second camera run showed the pipe clean and full-size again.
04 · The outcome
The sink has run perfectly since. The owners were relieved to find the pipe was fine — and that the fix was a clean-out, not a replacement.

Recurring roots in a 1960s clay sewer — relined, no digging
The owners had cleared the same sewer four times in two years. Every few months the toilets would gurgle, the shower would slow, and they’d call someone to ram a cable through. It always came back.
